I didn’t have a very nice time during the birth of my first child so I was determined to find another way with my second…..and I did.It was only by pure chance that i stumbled across HypnoBirthing at 36 weeks pregnant.
I had the most amazing pain-free birth without the need for any medical intervention or drugs. I gave birth to a content 9.5lbs baby girl and I didn’t even push. I breathed her out calmly and gently and i loved every minute of it.I could have just scooped her up and driven straight home....i felt so energetic and well.
I was completely relaxed and calm throughout the entire labour, so much so that my husband said he couldn’t even tell when I was having a contraction. I think HypnoBirthing can sound too good to be true but I have done it so I know that it works!
I have never done meditation or yoga or anything like that before so i truely believe if i can do it anyone can do it.If I can help make your birth experience positive and enjoyable then I know I have the best job in the world.Hope to see you soon!!

I am a HypnoBirthing mum and was so impressed at the effect of HypnoBirthing on my birth experience that I decided to train as a HypnoBirthing practitioner.
As an older, first time mum with a precious IVF baby, learning the techniques of HypnoBirthing gave me the confidence to insist on a home birth. James has been a fantastic baby and I put it down to the calm nature of his birth.
My background is in accountancy and I am fairly logical and analytical and I support
HypnoBirthing from an evidence based approach! I am an accredited HypnoBirthing practitioner , an NLP practitioner , a student of hypnotherapy and a HypnoBirthing mum.
I had an amazing calm birth without the need for any medical interventions. My labour seemed to go so quickly and started early in the morning and was over by lunch time! The mid wife examined me at 9am and was surprised to find me 8cm dilated as I was managing the surges so well.
HypnoBirthing really works and I love being able to share this knowledge with you all and it is so rewarding to see the effect on the whole family, mums dads and babies.

When I was pregnant with my baby I had no idea HypnoBirthing existed. I went to your average antenatal class which focused on what might go wrong. After having my baby and talking to other mums about their birthing experiences I knew there must be a better way.
I was inspired by my wonderful Heatlth Visitor to help and support other women through pregnancy, birth and beyond and so I trained to become a birth and postnatal doula. I now have my own doula company, Cherished Birth.
Whilst beginning my journey as a doula I trained to become a HypnoBirthing Practitioner as I strongly believe that women have the right to a calm, gentle, even pain free birth.
I now attend the births of HypnBirthing mums and help them to get the birth they want and deserve, as well as teaching classes. Seeing mums and dads have a wonderful birth experience and having calm, relaxed babies, is a truly rewarding vocation.
