How Water Baby Birthing Pool Hire was born.
I am a local mum-of-one with a beautiful baby girl who I delivered in a birthing pool recently. I have such fantastic memories of the experience that I want to make birthing pools available to all women at reasonable prices.
I was nervous about how I would cope with the birth of my first child at home until I read about the benefits of water birth.
I had an amazing pain-free birth without the need for medical intervention or drugs. My labour was over quickly in just 3 hours and 33 minutes and my daughter was gently pushed out in the water calmly and slowly. I felt so relaxed and I needed no stitches.
Bobbie May is such a happy, contented baby and I strongly believe this is because of her gentle and gradual birth. She is a real water baby and the inspiration behind Water Baby Birthing Pool Hire.
What we offer.
We charge only £65.00 (including a £25 non-returnable deposit to secure booking) for 5 weeks hire.For this you will receive a regular size Birth Pool in a Box (193 x 165 cm): Perfect for women who are 5 ft 6 or more, you want freedom to move around or if your partner wants to get in too.
The package also includes: A disposable liner (to give you peace of mind that you are about to give birth in a clean, sterile environment), electric inflate/deflate pump, hoses, hose and tap adapter, digital thermometer, anti slip floor sheet, strainer and electric submersible emptying pump.
We like to personally deliver all the equipment to your home once you reach 37 weeks in your pregnancy. We will give you full instructions on how this birthing pool is set up quickly and easily.
